As a key player in the Artemis program, Maxar is developing several components including the Power and Propulsion Element for the lunar Gateway that will enable a sustainable human presence on the moon and beyond.
Maxar is also delivering a broad range of services and hardware solutions that will enable power, control, communications, robotic manipulation and thermal optimization for the Dynetics’ Human Landing System.
Masten Space Systems’ XL-1 unmanned lunar lander, which will deliver nine technology demonstrations to the lunar south pole in 2022, will use a Maxar robotic arm called SAMPLR to acquire and analyze samples of lunar regolith.
