Restore-L

Moon//On-orbit servicing

The next step in a more sustainable and democratized space economy: on-orbit refueling and tune-ups. Led by NASA and built by Maxar, the Restore-L spacecraft will rendezvous with, grasp, refuel, and relocate a government-owned satellite to extend its life.

The success of Restore-L will provide new ways for satellite operators to manage their fleets and maximize their investments, contributing to a more sustainable space economy.

Slated for launch in 2022, Maxar has recently completed its Critical Design Review for the spacecraft bus and is also developing the robotic arms.
